Text Box: The Country Walk Homeowners Association held our required annual meeting at the Brownsburg Public Library on October 22, 2002 at 7:00 PM.
The Report of the board of directors was given and covered the budget year to date at the time versus the actual results. It was noted that we probably would have to hold some bills to the following year due to higher than budgeted collection expenses and lower than expected revenues.
The board also reiterated that the power to Text Box: govern the covenants does rest with the board. The board members emphasized that we try to communicate directly with all members when there is a problem brought to our attention.
We talked through the process the board takes when there are covenant violations.
Next, the board held an election for the open seat. Sean Wilkinson was previously appointed to fulfill the remainder of a term and agreed to run again. He was unopposed and the vote was unanimous for his election to the three year term.
The proposed budget was then discussed. The Text Box: fees were agreed to at $185 by the required amount of those voting in person and by proxy. This results in a budget of 18,488 which was $838 higher than the previous year. The vote passed for the budget 26-2.
The board reiterated that the amount of collections was extremely high and out of the ordinary due to the tough economy.
There was some general discussion questions and then a motion to dismiss the meeting was seconded and voted on affirmatively.
